margery’s little sister

1 1/2 oz vodka

3/4 oz lemon juice

3/8 oz simple syrup

1/2 oz pomegranate juice

2 sprigs rosemary

crush 1 sprig rosemary by hand and cover it with ice.

add vodka, lemon, juice, and simple syrup.

shake, and strain over fresh ice into a tall glass.

sink pomegranate juice.

garnish with lemon wedge and the second sprig of rosemary.

a somewhat less refined version of margery in her summer dress, concocted in response to a request for ‘something sour with vodka.’  funny thing about sending out drinks with interesting garnishes:  send one out, and somebody’s going to see it and want one, too.  which is exactly what happened.
