smoke gets in your eyes

2 oz hendricks gin

1/4 oz laphroaig single-malt scotch

 

rinse a chilled martini shell with laphroaig.

pour hendriks over ice and stir.

strain into martini shell.

cucumber garnish.

 

my own version of a sadly-neglected classic.  served to a couple of fellows who got a little too silly when describing what they were looking for out of their next cocktail.
