citrus vodka

we do not, for the most part, carry flavored vodka a quoin.  it’s just not our thing.  but when enough people ask for something, you really should give it to them.  this is the hospitality industry, after all.  and people ask for citron a fair bit.

but why buy something you can make yourself?  especially if making it yourself means you have a giant jar of citrus slices macerating on the backbar for people to look at and ask about?  so here is my/our quick and dirty citrus vodka recipe (makes roughly two bottles):

2 bottles vodka

3 lemons

2 limes

1 orange

slice the citrus into thin wheels.  pour vodka over it.  seal and wait one week before decanting.  delicious.
